Recognition at the Nunavut Business Achievement Awards

On October 8th, at the Nunavut Business Achievement Awards, Greg Cayen was honored with Business Person of the Year, a very well deserved recognition for all he has done for NCC Investment Group, Nunasi Corporation, the Nunavut Business Credit Corporation, for the community, and for Nunavut as a whole. In addition to this NCC Development Limited was recognised as overall business of the year.

Mary Hanson-Akavak also received a Sponsorship Award and was recognized for her 16 years of service

KIA Building Completed

The headquarters for the Kitikmeot Inuit Association, Kitikmeot Corporation, and Nunavut Tunngavik (NTI) Lands was completed towards the end of last year, and many of the 'finishing touches' are now also complete. Here's a beautiful shot of a very impressive building, both inside and out! Designed and constructed to exemplify the leadership position of our Inuit organizations, it certainly meets and surpasses this objective.
