accessories, as well as industrial, safety and oil field related
supplies.

in Calgary, Alberta, and strategic branch locations throughout
western Canada and the Territories, Explosives Limited's core
area of business operations goes beyond the distribution of
commercial explosives, to include perforating charges, guns
and other oil field related products and services. |

Kitikmeot Explosives was established to provide packaged and bulk explosives, detonating systems,
blasting accessories, as well as industrial, safety and oil
filed related supplies, to mining and exploration companies
located in Nunavut.
It is expected that a select number of training and employment opportunities will be created for
Kitikmeot Inuit through this joint venture. However, business
development is the key priority in this early stage, and it
is anticipated that training and employment will result later
on from business growth in the Nunavut territory.
Kitikmeot Explosives is currently working at the Hope Bay mine site, now owned by Newmont Mining
