In December, 2011 Aqsaqniq Airways Ltd., a majority Inuit-owned partnership with Air Tindi Ltd., was selected by the Government of Nunavut to supply Air Ambulance Services in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut. Medic North Nunavut is a partner in the provision of this service, and the partnership group has established an operating location in Cambridge Bay.
